Message	The guy there said they were ok to do. He also said that they ( and many others)were powder coated from the factory. I know high heat can weaken springs and that is a popular method to ghetto lower a car. But that's usually done with a torch well over 400F. I'm certainly not the expert either, so take that for what it's worth.
